Founded in 1946, Baszohn Cattle Co. is a family-run farming business rooted in strong Christian values and a deep passion for the land. Owners and cousins Eben Basson and Wessel Ebershon cherish family time and uphold high integrity in all their farming endeavors.

Located in the Mooi River district of KZN, Baszohn Cattle Co. spans over 4,000 hectares of land, where we grow maize, lucerne, soya beans, and more, utilizing both dry lands and pivot irrigation systems. Our cattle farming operation is renowned for some of the best Bonsmara genetics in South Africa. We proudly manage over 400 Bonsmara females, 300 Brangus females, 1,100 Ayrshire females, 350 SA Holstein females, and 300 commercial animals.

Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our careful breeding programs, developed with various specialists to ensure top-quality genetics. We also have a dairy farm operation, providing delicious, farm-fresh milk to various producers.
